What do you pride yourself in when it comes to veterinary medicine and/or taking care of your patients?
Each day, I do my best to improve and evolve. My goal is to ensure the best experience possible for all involved. This works best when we keep an open mind and do everything we can to help, communicate, and connect with the community.

What do you like to do in your free time?
In my free time, I enjoy nature, science, growing, planting, and cultivating. I have been focusing recently on self-growth and mindfulness.

Sara B.

 Licensed Veterinary Technician

Sara began working in veterinary medicine in 2001, first completing her certification to become an approved
veterinary assistant and obtained her state licensure and title after passing the National Veterinary Technician
Examination in 2008.

She and Dr. Berger married that same year and opened PetWell Veterinary Healthcare together in the summer of 2009. Sara and Brian are passionate about family and have three children. They also have two dogs and two cats that share the love at home.

Sara is a certified Cat Friendly Veterinary Professional with the Feline Veterinary Medical Association. She is certified Fear Free – Elite. She is a member of NAVTA (National Association of Veterinary Technicians in America) as well as GVTA (Georgia Veterinary Technician Association). She is certified in basic and advanced life support (CPR) through VECCS (Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society) and has clinical
experience in emergency and critical care.

She is passionate about dermatology, dentistry, nutrition, behavioral medicine and training. She is an advocate for senior pets and feline patients. She is dedicated to providing the most comfortable and positive experience for patients that come to PetWell and ensuring they receive the highest quality of care.

What do you pride yourself in when it comes to veterinary medicine and/or taking care of your patients?
I pride myself on being gentle, caring, and paying close attention to each animal’s needs. I try to make sure they feel safe and comfortable, while also taking the time to really listen to their owners. I want both the pet and owner to feel cared for and understood.

What do you like to do in your free time?
I love to travel and experience new places and cultures. I have a goal to visit all seven continents.

What do you pride yourself in when it comes to veterinary medicine and/or taking care of your patients?
I enjoy creating a personalized veterinary experience for clients. I get excited to deliver client education and intimate home education to make pet parents’ experience more enjoyable.

What do you like to do in your free time?
I enjoy family time with my partner and furkids. I enjoy traveling exclusively to tropical destinations and creating new experiences. I have a love for personal development and supporting others to their best selves.

What do you pride yourself in when it comes to veterinary medicine and/or taking care of your patients?
What I pride myself the most in veterinary medicine is the love and passion I’ve had—and continue to have—for the field since I was 5 years old, which allows me to show true compassion to patients.

What do you like to do in your free time?
I spend time with my daughter, family, and furbabies. I love being around nature any chance I get. I also hang out with friends and try new foods and places.

What do you pride yourself in when it comes to veterinary medicine and/or taking care of your patients?
I pride myself on being both compassionate and thorough. I strive to treat every patient like they’re my own, paying close attention not just to their medical needs, but also to their comfort and emotional well-being. At the end of the day, it means a lot to know I’m part of making a difference in our patients’ lives.

What do you like to do in your free time?
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and furkids. I also enjoy hiking, photography, canoeing, and spending time in the boat.

I pride myself in veterinary medicine by advocating for those without a voice. Our pets can’t speak for themselves, so it’s my duty to ensure they are heard and cared for.

What do you like to do in your free time?
In my free time, I like to sculpt, draw, and write short stories.

I enjoy being out in nature and staying active, whether that’s through hiking, walking, or just being outside. I also value quality time with my friends and family as well as relaxing at home with my cats.
