Payment is expected when services are rendered. In order to focus on our patients’ needs, customer service, and minimizing costs, we do not bill.

We accept debit cards, credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express), checks, and cash. All cards must be signed by the owner of the card.

When unexpected illness strikes a pet, unexpected expense strikes as well. PetWell Veterinary Healthcare understands this and is able to make some special arrangements through the CareCredit program. It takes just 5 minutes to complete an application and will allow you to break down your payment into 6 monthly installments. You can either apply at our hospital, where we’ll text in your application over the phone for immediate approval, or apply yourself online at www.CareCredit.com.

Insurance for Your Pets

The American Animal Hospital Association strongly suggests all pet-owning families assess their financial situation and consider how they will meet unexpected veterinary expenses. Some families choose to budget accordingly, while others protect themselves with pet health insurance.

Our clinic does not endorse one provider over another. However, here are some important tips when choosing a pet health insurance plan:

  • Understand what the policy covers. Does it include preventative care like vaccines, or are there extra charges?
  • Check for exclusions. Most policies will exclude pre-existing or hereditary conditions.
  • Review deductible and co-pay requirements. Some insurers reimburse based on actual costs, others by a set fee schedule.

Verify if you can choose your own veterinarian or must use a participating provider.
