Be sure to check with the destination state, as well as your airline or shipping carrier, to determine their requirements before scheduling your appointment. State requirements for pet transport DO vary.
For International Health Certificates:
Your destination country may have specific health requirements that must be met before your pet can enter the country. Since export requirements are determined by each country and can change frequently, every time you plan pet travel, you will need to verify the export requirements. Please note that airlines may have separate and additional requirements, as well. Check with your airline to determine what requirements they have, if any. Please verify all destination and airline requirements before scheduling your appointment.
Please keep in mind most health certificates need to be done within ten days of travel.
Items you will need to provide while scheduling your appointment:
- Certificate for most recent Rabies vaccination
- Date of Travel
- Travel Destination address/phone number and consignee
- Current address/phone number and consignor
- Import permit (if applicable)
- Pet Passport (if applicable)
- Pre-purchased UPS or FedEx shipping label for certificates where digital endorsement by the USDA APHIS office is not allowed (if applicable)
